1WHAT IS THE TYPE OF AKMOVERS LORRIES?
AKMOVERS lorries are bonded-type.
2WHAT ARE THE SIZE AND CAPACITY OF AKMOVERS LORRIES?
AKMOVERS lorries capacity
  • 5 tonne lorries with 16.5' x 7'2" x 7' (L x W x H) dimension, and;
  • 2 tonnes lorries with 13' x 6’ x 6' (L x W x H) dimension.
3HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A MOVING PROCESS?
It depends on many factors:-

  • The size of the house
  • Residential support (loading bay, maintenance lift)
  • Items quantity
  • Furniture type (heavy furniture will take more time)
  • The distance between pickup and dropoff location
  • Type of service you choose
  • 4WHAT IS THE WORKING HOURS FOR AKMOVERS CREW A DAY?
    Maximum 12 hours per day, in order to ensure the productivity of stuff for the next job
    5WHAT IF THE MOVING PROCESS IS NOT DONE WITHIN 12 WORKING HOURS?
    The moving process will be carried forward for the next day and extra charges are applicable to it.
    6ARE YOU A LEGAL MOVER?
    We are a registered company under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM). Our registration number is 1148672-D.
    7HOW IS THE PROCESS TO BOOK AKMOVERS SERVICE?
    1. Get a Quotation from our Website: www.myakmovers.com
    2.      Step 1 : Contact Details
           Step 2 : Moving Details
           Step 3 : Location Details
           Step 4 : Service Packages
           Step 5: Quotation is sent to your Email.

    3. For Booking, Whatsapp Booking ID to +6019 5181 744 or Call +603 5524 2916 (Office Hour).

    4. Full confirmation details will be updated for you through Whatsapp / Message.

    5. Made 50% Booking Payment from the total price and send Payment Receipt to +6019 5181 744 (Whatsapp Only).

    6. Balance Payment is made using Online Transfer or Paid by Cash to our Team Leader after the job is done.

    8WHAT SERVICE DO YOU PROVIDE?
    We provide transportation and manpower for house and office relocation. We also provide additional services such as packing and wrapping service, assemble and dismantle service, load and unload service, unpacking service and house cleaning service based on the package that we offer. Moving items such as Box, Shrink Wrap, Paper Wrap, Bubble Wrap and Cellotape are also given based on the package that you choose in the Quotation. Large container for loose items and Furniture protector are the TOOLS used during the moving process only. It’s not included as given items.
    9WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF LARGE BOX, SHRINK WRAP, PAPER WRAP AND BUBBLE WRAP?
    Large box:
    Dimension 590mm X 4000mm X 500mm, Type T180 second strongest materials for moving boxes. It’s not the same as usual box as it’s use higher grade of material and double layer body which makes it firm in shape if it is being stack-up in lorry bonded. The items inside are safe.

    Shrink-wrap:
    To wrap furniture and to reduce the movement of customer stuff in the lorry.

    Paper wrap:
    To wrap small fragile items, especially for Kitchen Utensil such as glass, ceramic bowl, plate and etc.

    Bubble-wrap:
    To covers fragile surface such as the surface of Television and Frame glass.

    12CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING DATE?
    Yes, you may change your booking date 2 weeks in advance based on the vacancy of our slot.
    13HOW DO I PAY?

    Firstly, you need to pay a 50% Booking payment of the total price you received in the Quotation into AKMovers account through Online Transfer or ATM Deposit Payment. Balance payment is made using Online Transfer or paid by Cash to the Team Leader after the job is done.

    14IS THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES IF MOVING PROCESS TAKING PLACE ON PUBLIC HOLIDAY?
    Yes, extra charges are applicable for manpower that works on Public Holiday.
    15IS THE PRICE QUOTE FOR CUSTOMER IS FIXED?
    It is depends based on the consultation and advice from our well trained and experienced staff, whether you need to add on extra services such as extra manpower, extra boxes and etc, but the customer have the option to make the decision. There is no hidden cost charge.
    16DO YOU NEED TO BE THERE DURING THE MOVING DAY?
    It’s not necessary, we guarantee the credibility of our staff, but you advised to be there to supervise.
    17WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT WE DID NOT CARRY WITH?
    All prohibited and illegal items such as drugs, alcohol drinks, illegal weapons and etc.
    18DO YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE FOR OUR GOODS?
    Yes, we provide Goods in Transit Insurance for the things that we lift or carry for customer. For additional information regarding insurance you can directly contact our hotline number, +6019 5181 744.
    19DO YOU CARRY OUR PERSONAL OR VALUABLE ITEMS SUCH AS MONEY, JEWELLERY AND ETC?
    For safety purpose, we advised you to bring along your personal and valuable item together with you.
    20DO YOU HANDLE PET FOR MOVING?
    We are sorry, for now we do not provide services for moving pets.
    21CAN WE USE OUR OWN TOOLS AND MOVING ITEMS?
    Yes you may, you can use your own boxes, cello tape and other moving tools. What you need to do is just to inform us 24hours earlier.
